The Author
 Gbenga Adebayo, a Telecommunications Engineer had a
successful career with Siemens AG. Germany. He joined VGC Communications Ltd as the Technical Manager in Year 2000,
following his success; he was promoted as the first Nigerian
General Manager in Year 2002. The Company under a Management
led by him grew rapidly from a community telephone service
provider to full national operator status within five years,
and now playing a noticeable role in the rapid development
of telecommunication services and infrastructures in Nigeria
