 His Excellency: Chief Cornelius Adebayo - Nigeria's
Honourable Minister of Communications of the Federal
Republic of Nigeria. A former Civilian Governor of Kwara
State and at other times a Senator of the Federal Republic
of Nigeria.
He was a lecturer in English at the University of Ife (now
Obafemi Awolowo University) between1969-1973. In 1974, he
served as the founding Head of the Department of English:
Kwara State Polytechnic.
He served as Commissioner in the Kwara State Government
between 1975-1978, and lead in the Ministries of Education,
Information and Economic Development.
Chief Cornelius Adebayo was elected Senator, Federal
Republic of Nigeria in 1979.
And was a member of several Senate delegations to
international meetings, forums and conferences.
In 1983, he was elected a Civilian Governor of Kwara State,
and later appointment as a cabinet Minister in Year 2003,
and is currently one of the longest serving Ministers of the
Federal Minister of Communications, Nigeria.
Chief Cornelius Adebayo wrote an excellent Goodwill Message
